An old friend and fellow Vanguard grad, Art, reached out to update the branding for his film studio. Desertski, a company Art founded, has already won numerous awards, with Aero being featured at the Sundance Film Festival.
Art wanted to build on the existing brand, while taking new territory. From the onset, keeping a desert theme was a primary focus. After working through a few different directions, the roadrunner stood out as the perfect visual direction. While roadrunners are iconic and unique, there are also strong ties to agility, momentum, and the ability to be both lean and efficient.
The primary goal of the branding was to stand apart from the crowd, while still being relevant in the industry. The brand solution was to create a system of logos that could be used and interchanged based on need, application, and platform.
